I’m Stephen Henderson, and Fuego Softwash is mine. Not a franchise, not a franchisee, not a dispatch number that routes you to whoever happens to be free. When you call, you get me — and the person who quotes your property is the person standing on it.
Oklahoma born, Texas raised.
I was born in Oklahoma and raised in Texas, and I’ve wanted to run my own business for about as long as I can remember. Not a particular business, necessarily — just the thing itself. Building something, putting my name on it, and living with whether the work was good enough.
Exterior cleaning turned out to be a good fit for that. It’s honest work with a result you can see from the street. Nobody has to take my word for whether a driveway got clean — either it did or it didn’t, and it’s sitting right there in front of the house either way. I like that there’s nowhere to hide.
Then Bastrop happened.
I met my wife at the Buc-ee’s in Bastrop. If you’re from around here, that probably needs no further explanation — half this town has run into somebody they know standing in that brisket line. We got married in December of 2023, and our first child arrived in January of 2025.
So the business and the family have grown up together, more or less in step. That’s not a marketing line — it’s just the actual reason I care whether your gutters were done right. This is what puts food on my table, in the town where my family lives. I’m going to run into you at H-E-B.
How I actually work
I quote before I start, so you know the number before any water moves. I protect landscaping before the first drop, because plant-safe detergent still isn’t the same as no detergent. I match the method to the surface — pressure for concrete, soft washing for anything porous or painted — because getting that backwards is how people damage their own houses trying to clean them. And I don’t leave until you’ve walked the property with me, or until I’ve sent you photos if you weren’t home.

Bastrop, Cedar Creek, Elgin, Smithville, Del Valle, Manor, Austin, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Lockhart — roughly an hour in any direction. For the right job I’ll go further than that, so if you’re outside the list it’s still worth asking.
